Abstract

PT Dasatama Cemerlang Motorindo Dumai is one of the companies engaged in the sale of Yamaha brand motorcycles in the city of Dumai. Along with the increasing public interest in motorcycles, therefore PT Dasatama Cemerlang Motorindo Dumai offers motorcycles, especially the Yamaha brand and provides types and types various motorcycles. Based on the symptoms of the problem above, it can be formulated the problem, namely What Factors Affect Purchase Decisions at PT Dasatama Cemerlang Motorindo Dumai. The theory used according to Swastha (2008:118) the factors that influence purchasing decisions are: decisions about product types, decisions about product forms, decisions about brands, decisions about sellers, decisions about the number of products, decisions about when to buy, and decisions about payment method. The population and sample in this study were all employees and customers totaling 64 people with the sampling method using the Saturated Sampling method for employees and the incidental sampling method for customers. The results of this study obtained a total score of 3,712 with a percentage of 92,06% in the good category and in the range of 2,688-4,032. The inhibiting factors in this study are the lack of convenience for consumers to get the type of product and the lack of a number of products offered by PT Dasatama Cemerlang Motorindo Dumai
