Abstract

PT. Sentana Adidaya Pratama (SADP) is a business company with fertilizer trading which is the main commodity, using the Mahkota brand to become a subsidiary of the Wilmar group Indonesia which is the largest agribusiness company in the world, for this reason employees are needed to work in managing and running the company with Good. In implementing the principles of employee motivation, symptoms were found, namely that there were still employees who had not had the opportunity to attend training provided by the company and there was still a lack of giving awards to employees who had worked well. The research uses Hasibuan's theory (2009: 146), the motivational principles include the principle of inclusion, the principle of communication, the principle of recognition, the principle of delegated authority and the principle of reciprocal attention. The study population consisted of 261 employees, which used 2 (two) methods, namely the census method and proportional random sampling. The results of the study were categorized as Good, with a total score of 4,995 in the range of 4200 – 6300 with a percentage score of 79.28%, the supporting factors were the principle of mutual attention and the principle of recognition given by the company. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of authority delegated to employees who are felt to play an active role and the lack of communication between leaders and employees.
