Performance of Lecturers at Private Universities In Riau Province

This study aims to determine and examine the effect of lecturer performance on the performance of private universities in the province of Riau. The research method used sampling technique and cluster random sampling with a sample of 221 respondents. The results showed that the performance of lecturers affected the performance of private universities in Riau province by 70.7% and the remaining 29.3% were variables that were not examined that affected the performance of private universities. The results of this study suggested that: 1). To improve lecturer performance. Leaders need to be more active in socializing the importance of making textbooks, and leaders need to provide facilities or financial support. 2). To improve the performance of private universities, the leadership emphasizes research development. 3). To improve the performance of lecturers and the performance of private universities, all parties need to create a harmonious environment.
