Anti-Discrimination Protection For Women Workers In Indonesia

Abstract

With the rise of issues or problems in employment, especially violations experienced by women workers, it is necessary to have comprehensive protection by the government or international organizations and institutions in fulfilling the rights of women workers in order to prevent all acts of discrimination that occur. Qualitative research was conducted to look at labor regulations as an anti-discrimination protection for female workers in Indonesia. Sources of data obtained from secondary data, namely from library research (Library Research) and review of applicable rules. Research Methods using a literature review approach sourced from books, articles and laws related to employment. The results of the study found that legal protection for the safety, health and rights of women in its implementation is generally in part appropriate, for entrepreneurs who employ women workers must implement the rights of women workers in accordance with the laws and regulations and work agreements.
